What is broccolini? It might be similar in appearance to broccoli, but broccolini is actually a hybrid of broccoli and Chinese broccoli. When compared to broccoli, broccolini has smaller florets and longer, thinner stalks, hence its nickname “baby broccoli.” It’s high in vitamin C and contains a significant amount of vitamin A and fiber as well as potassium, calcium and iron.
