Ruffino Riserva Ducale Oro Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG Sangiovese Italian red wine is an elegant and well-structured blend that is the ultimate expression of the Chianti Classico winemaking region. This wine opens with aromas and flavors of cherry, plum, and violet with hints of chocolate and spice. This full-bodied Chianti has plush, silky tannins, a good acidity, and a lasting finish of chocolate and coffee. Made with only outstanding vintages, grapes are meticulously hand-harvested from the hillsides of Tenute Ruffino estates. This wine is aged in oak, stainless steel, and concrete vats for 36 months, followed by additional aging in the bottle before release to enhance its balance, and finesse.
